Upcoming Events!

We will be having our first Repair Cafe in conjunction with GreenFest on April 22 from Noon til 2pm. People visiting the Repair Café can bring broken items from home such as toasters, lamps, clothes, jewelry, or electronics.  Repair Café volunteers will evaluate the items and fix as many of them as they can for FREE.  Volunteers will also be available to provide resources and answer questions about repairs on items that are too large or not possible to bring in, such as plumbing or large furniture.

By promoting repairs, Transition Howard County wants to reduce waste and help people save money.  And repairing things can be a lot of fun! If you have broken items to bring to the Repair Café, please fill out the repair form here.

For information on the Repair Café Foundation, please visit Repaircafe.org. This foundation provides support to local groups around the world wishing to start their own Repair Café.
