Save, Reduce, Build, Repeat
with Transition Streets!

Save Money, Reduce Consumption, Build Community, and Repeat.

That is what the Transition Streets program is all about.  It provides practical advice for reducing your household costs, while having fun and getting to know your neighbors. Participants in this program have cut their household bills by an average of $900/year while learning to live more sustainable and resilient lives.

The pilot program is meeting in a private home in Ellicott City once per week for seven weeks starting on Monday January 26th.  Each week covers a different topic.

Jan 26 - Resilient Trailblazers

Feb 2 - Less is More

Feb 9 - Water, Water Everywhere

Feb 16 - You Gotta Eat

Feb 23 - Let's Talk Trash

Mar 2 - Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Mar 9 - That's a Wrap
